| Renny was devastated when her husband decided to file for a divorce, and at first didn’t think that she would be able to move on. Now it’s been over a year, and she’s got her own house and is getting her life together. She’s doing better than ever, but she’d still like to know what went wrong with her marriage. When her ex-husband breaks into her house to retrieve a baseball bat he wanted in the divorce settlement, she manages to subdue him and tie him up. Now maybe she can get some answers to the questions she had… he won’t have much choice.
I really enjoyed reading On His Knees, it’s definitely one of those stories that I could relate too because the characters seemed so real. Renny is a great character, she’s a bit insecure and has issues, but has managed to move on with her life despite her problems. One of the great things about this story was that instead of pining away for her husband during the time they were separated she managed to grow as a person instead. Nicholas is a wonderful character too, he’s tortured by the fact that he had to end it, but felt like he had no choice due to issues explained in the book. On His Knees is a wonderful story about two people who had to separate in order to grow, and is definitely one you shouldn’t miss!
