| Rebecca has a very special gift that’s about to get her into a boatload of trouble. She accidentally switches places with an evil witch in the seventeenth century, that’s going to be burned at the stake. She must rely on a new friend to keep her safe until she can figure out just what’s happening. Rebecca must work fast because she’s running out of time and will soon be killed. Can she figure out a way to get back home and back in her own body before it’s too late?
Richard knows that something has changed about Rebecca; she’s more aggressive than she ever was before. He doesn’t figure out that she’s someone else until much later and by that time there is nothing he can do except hope that Rebecca can find a way to make it back to her own time and her own body. Who is this new woman that has taken over her body and why? I knew this book would be different from the moment I started reading it and I was not wrong. There are certain aspects of this book that I just found hard to believe, for instance the two women switches bodies and Rebecca knows that she is in a different woman’s form, yet knowing this she still sleeps with someone else much too quickly. Another difficulty is Richard; I can’t understand why it takes him so long to realize that Rebecca has changed. I would think he has lived with her long enough to know something wasn’t right, but it takes him a pretty good while to put it together. Overall the story is interesting, but it’s easy to get lost in. The erotic love scenes are detailed and some may find them a tad edgy. If you love plots about time travel, witches and switching bodies or you just want to read a story unlike any other you have read before, then you will want to pick this book up.
