This was a raw, emotional read! I loved how descriptive the scenes in the cockpit were and could almost see myself surrounded by all the technology and gadgets. Miranda and Mac are good together; two wounded souls avoiding love and finding it when they least expect it. I think this was more of an erotic contemporary, bookended at the beginning and end with some action. I would have enjoyed it more with that classification but I was expecting more suspense or mystery and thus found it a little lacking. Be warned that this story contains a rape scene and for some readers it might be highly offensive. The scene went a long way in proving that her ex-husband was a complete jerk but I'm not sure that it needed all the bleak detail. I look forward to seeing what else this author has to offer.
