| Hall Monitor is a story about a very unlikely couple. Gayle's a successful career woman and Eric is a security guard in the building where she works. He has watched her for months, and when she approaches him with a sexy proposition, the results are scorching!
In The Kiln, Luscious "Loosh" Kemp lusts after Tammy Blakely. Her father owns the company he works for and he's sure she's out of his reach. But Tammy wants him too. One night she gives him an invitation he can't refuse. Sahara's On a Plane to Munich introduces us to Sahara, who thinks she's perfectly happy with her boring life, and Ingo, a sexy German college student. When they finally get together, the chemistry is incredible! But Sahara thinks Ingo is only interested in a temporary fling. Will he prove her wrong? Aubrey Leatherwood is a very talented writer. She has a unique voice and I'm never disappointed with anything she writes. The People You Know the Sex They Have is no exception. This collection of three short stories is erotic, intense, and filled with complex characters. My favorite was Hall Monitor, but all the stories are so sexy and interesting, I read straight through. I couldn't wait to find out what would ultimately happen with each couple, and Ms. Leatherwood manages to keep you guessing until the end. The dialog is realistic without being boring, and is one of the tools the author uses to show us who these characters are. She is great at "showing, not telling", and a master at writing erotic love scenes that never seem repetitive. I love this author's work, and if you're a fan of this genre, I recommend reading this collection of short stories.
