Meeting Mercy and becoming involved with her was not something Logan had foreseen in his future. As a government experiment who lived on the edge and took out the trash when ordered to do so, meeting Mercy was kind of ironic for Logan after years of training himself to rebel against what his bosses wanted. Logan's feelings of compassion and kindness were not something that had been instilled in him, but an emotion he had to learn. Mercy, who is the only healer available in the little community where she lived, could not help the intense sexual feelings she felt towards Logan no matter how much she tried to fight it. And soon these two strong and compelling characters will have you laughing and panting in excitement at the sexual scenes of love making, along with the added drama of both Mercy and Logan fighting to stay alive.
