|Anna and Mason have the perfect relationship. At least that is what Anna thinks until the day Mason tells her it's over. When she presses Mason for a reason, he tells her why and Anna must choose between ending things and exploring a new and different, if not exciting, lifestyle. Can Anna lose the prim and proper attitude and let herself experience something that she never thought she wanted? Mason has given her time to decide on her own and not only does Anna's sexuality hang in the balance, but so does their love.
I enjoyed meeting Mason. He is a good man who loves with all his heart and is more than willing to let Anna go. Anna on the other hand was a bit too naive for me. She was overly innocent to me and it began to grate on my nerves, making it hard for me to connect with her and, in my opinion, her transformation at the end of the story was a bit more than I would think that Anna would actually do. Although I had a hard time connecting with Anna I could see the love and the connection that Mason and Anna have. I enjoyed seeing Anna grow with the help of Mason. He pushes her to look inside herself and find what she wants and that it's okay to want what she does. Their love is strong and they are willing to fight for it. The sparks in the beginning turn into full-blown flames and the two burn up the pages with their attraction. I also enjoyed that Mason and Anna were both ready and willing to communicate as well as explore because of how much they loved each other. Mason brings Anna into his world with eyes wide open and waits for her decision making this not only a hot read but also a nice one.
