|Marie had finally left her abusive ex-husband and the last thing she needs is another man in her life. Especially when she's pretty darn sure his business isn't exactly legal not to mention he's a tattooed biker who just answers to Horse. Horse, however, is convinced otherwise and is determined to have Marie. When her brother starts doing business with members of the Reaper's Motorcycle Club, Marie is worried. She's not reassured by Horse's intent interest in her. Horse figures if he just keeps giving her amazing orgasms, eventually she'll agree to be Property of. Too bad her brother is such a screw up that he steals from the Club, because suddenly Marie doesn't have a choice but to be with Horse in order to save her brother's life. Now to keep her brother alive she has to be at Horse's beck and call in all things. Sleeping in Horse's bed is just a bonus.
This was a really interesting book. I'll be honest and say I wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy the book, but I was really intrigued by it. The chemistry between Marie and Horse is electric and gives the reader some really fun scenes, and it's interesting to get to know the characters. Horse is definitely not your typical male lead. Now this might sound a bit odd considering that it really was an interesting book and characters, but I'm still just not quite sure if I actually liked the book. It turns out that I might be more traditional than I had thought when it comes to romance books. I just had a hard time seeing why Marie would stay with Horse, not to mention that is was just odd to keep reading his name through out the book. But I still could see that this was an interesting book and I wouldn't say that other people may not really enjoy it.
