Ms. Zurlo allows the reader to feel like they are experiencing the characters growing into their relationship even though they are actually jumping in headfirst. She lets nothing come in the way of the heated sensuality between the hero and heroine and readers will find it very easy to lose themselves within Malcolm and Darcy's story.

Even if the reader isn't a fan of BDSM romances or has never read one before, they will respect as well as come to understand and hopefully enjoy the interaction between the Dom and his submissive. The author does a superb job of explaining the psychological elements behind the relationship, needs, behaviors and connection that is between Malcolm and Darcy. Readers will marvel as Malcolm pushes Darcy's boundaries and tests her limits in his desire to have her submit fully to him as her master. The blistering sex is filled with a smoking hot delights, kinky pleasures and tender seduction. The suspense of the investigation and the work up to the climax moves along with the story but it doesn't over-shadow Malcolm and Darcy's relationship in any way. The ending wraps up perfectly and will satisfy the reader craving for a captivating romance.
