| Brenna Kennedy is a librarian, a young woman with living parents and three tough brothers-a cop, a firefighter and a trauma surgeon. Brenna is also Warden for the Book of the Sorhineth, a sacred book that she holds for the Terrans. The Terrans are cousins of humans from thousands of years ago who were charged with the task of protecting Earth. Brenna has never met a Terra, nor does she wish to do so, until she meets Donovan Callahan. Donovan has finally realized that near the end of the twentieth century, mankind is in great trouble of extinction. Now, he needs Brenna and the Book to start saving the Earth.
Redemption was a fascinating book. It was the first story in a series called The Terran Realm, written by different authors. Ms. Ramsay has the responsibility of introducing the first characters, and she does a wonderful job. Brenna has known the the Kennedy family has a new Warden in every generation-the last one being her grandmother. Donovan has fought in many many wars (his kind live longer lives) and when he finally realizes that he is needed and gets Brenna and the Book, this story explodes in sex, love, hate and adventure! Brenna was always afraid of the Destroyers and she and Donovan find out that there was excellent reason th fear the Destroyers. Ms. Ramsay does an expert job of describing her characters, primary AND secondary. Donovan and Brenna have awesome sex, while they work with other characters saving San Fransisco. Not only did I truly enjoy Ms. Ramsay's book, but I want to read the others that she had written; and I am extremely eager to read the upcoming books in The Terran Realm.
