Cynthia Eden's New Year's Bites starts off the stories with one woman looking for love and finding it in the place she least expects it. Anna Summers has had her eye on one Jon York for a while. Little does she know that Jon will be the person she must rely on when her life is put in danger and transformed literally overnight.

Anna and Jon come are thrown together and show that opposites do attract. Jon recognizes that Anna is his mate and does everything in his power to protect her from the man hunting her. Bringing Anna into his world was not his plan, but I loved the way he accepted this challenge. Jon and Anna make a great pair and the menacing scenes with the threatening man are well-written. Anyone looking for a great read filled with sexy characters, enticing plot and edgy scenes will enjoy this story.

Night Resolutions by Diana Mercury brings to light the longing for another when you are already with someone. Chantel is invited to a house party along with her less than perfect boyfriend Billy. She is hoping this will be the chance for her and Billy to really get things heated up, but instead finds his best friend Jake a distraction she wasn't anticipating.

The main characters in this story are well-rounded and the mystery will keep the reader guessing until the very end. Chantel and Billy as a couple appear a little off and once it is revealed why it makes sense. Jake and Chantel explode with hot chemistry on the page. I really liked this story and recommend it to those who love erotic, tension- filled page turners.

Snow Blind by Virginia Reede is a perfectly written winter's tale about two close friends opening up to each other as they never have before. When Jules and her best friend Gerry rent a cabin in the mountains they each invite their significant other. When the two friends run into problems with their partners while up in the mountains, it just may be fate taking them by the hand to show them what they really want.

This is a hard one to walk away from. Jules and Gerry heat up the cabin from the very first chapter. The partners they have chosen to bring are ill-suited for them and it is fun to read about the "accidents" they all have. The story moves fast and is very erotic. It will have the reader guessing if they will ever see the light regarding their relationships. Well done and nicely written.

Coming On Strong by Denise Rossetti is a story filled with lots of smoke and fire. Gina McBride is at the wedding of her cousin and is thrown together as bunkmates with one Sam Jones. Sam has no problem sharing and it is only a matter of time before the two of them start heating things up. The only problem is that when Gina gets excited she lets go and literally becomes a dragon.

Laughter will ensue when this story is read. The author has done an excellent job of fleshing out the characters of Gina and Sam. Gina's dilema will make one feel bad for her, but it Sam is a strong man ready to take on a woman like Gina-scales and all. The story moves quick and is very spicy. Anyone who loves a funny, enticing and exciting read will love this one.
