The desire was just not there. He is surprise by the way his body reacts to Mandi. Something about her brings his body to life. From the first time he meets her he decides he must have her. He will be kept busy rescuing her but the passion they share will be worth it. Now if he could just tell her he is a vampire his life would be perfect. The story is filled with humor some of which may seem a little juvenile but it will still have the readers grinning. The characters names are just an example, Rusty Nipples and Brad “Keister”, after hearing names like these the reader just has to smile. The main characters are well developed and emotionally stirring in their realism. Readers will find themselves caring for them and hoping for the best. The supporting characters are very colorful and add a distinct redneck flavor to the story. Their interactions are delightfully funny and in many ways reminded me of people I know. The small town sense of the story reminded me of home and enhances the story for this reader. This is also a passionate romance. The sex is sizzling in its intensity. This couple is hotter than anything I can describe. Readers just have to love that vampiric stamina. The scenes are wonderfully creative making the visualization highly stimulating. If the humor and passion is not enough well hang on there is some life threatening drama to stir things up. Readers will be surprised by all that happens. This is a creative fast paced story with a smooth flowing storyline and an easily recognized plot. Readers will lose all sense of time as they read this tale of a big city girl’s adventures into a small town where the local sheriff is a vampire. So set some special time aside to enjoy yourself. This is a story that will leave the reader smiling.
