This is the second book of the Operation Pleiades series. The books revolve around the seven sisters of the Pleiades: group of women kidnapped by aliens as children and changed to have special powers. The Anaz-voohri have a "master plan," and have implanted a distinct mission in each of the women's minds that will trigger their unique abilities. The Anaz-voohris plan to take Earth for their own and colonize it, but they failed to factor in one small thing… human free will.

Celene Depres' father is a world-renowned archeologist and has called on his daughter to help him on a dig. This is a special find of alien artifacts never before seen. When she rushes to his side, excited to help uncover what will change the world, she witnesses his murder by a man she thought of as an "uncle," and her father had considered his best friend. Now she is on the run. The artifacts have fallen into the wrong hands, and are now controlled by an organization called Orion. Orion is deadly when faced, and they have many operatives in the world to find people who could be touched by alien life. There is no tolerance. When she teams up with Kin Raidon, who seems to have a similar agenda against Orion, Celene feels she may just have a chance at avenging her father and finding the artifacts and what they do.

Kin Raidon works for Mythos. He is a hired assassin on a mission to kill Celene before she can exert her untapped power and help aid the Anaz-voohri in the destruction of the world. Only he never bet on how hard it would be to kill such a lovely, vibrant, strong and seemingly untouched woman.

A fast paced, adrenaline-pumping addition to the wonderful Triskelion series. Vijaya Schartz takes the ball and runs with it in Relics, and carries it wonderfully. Do not miss this addition. Celene and Kin jump off the pages and run right into your heart.
