Life couldn't get any better for Red Taylor. This book skillfully and delightfully blends suspense and versatile characters, ensuring that the story comes alive. The flawlessly written plot, filled with hidden secrets, passion and lot of danger, all work together in perfect accord. The character development is very strong, so much so that the reader can almost feel the emotions of each character. Red is a sassy, determined and passionate heroine and readers will marvel at her backbone and courage when faced with the fear and uncertainty of life, death and protecting those she loves. Alpha hero Jack is an irresistible force of wild, intense and untamed heat that seems to balance with Daniel's thoughtful, confident and gentle strength. There is a deep connection and a sense of belonging that makes the bond seem like a natural thing. The steamy hot sex is edgy, sexy and out-and-out smoking hot! The sexual energy as well as the tension between the lovers never lets up creating an enthralling page turner. The building urgency of danger will have the reader on the edge of their seats. And the ending is absolutely wonderful.
