As a writer for Scottsdale Live magazine, Claire Williams thrives on the challenges she's assigned by her boss. Her latest assignment is covering the newest fitness hotspot, and interviewing its owner Jack Reed. However, upon meeting the man she finds herself intensely drawn to him and wants to get to know him better instead of focusing on her job.

Jack Reed could have his pick of women, but the writer doing a piece about his fitness club is the one he wants. However, something in her past has her running scared of relationships, and it will take everything Jack has to change her mind.

What a delight this book was to read even though it was only in the first person from the heroine's perspective. The plot was intriguing from start to finish, and roped me in from when the hero and heroine were first introduced. It was obvious that these two were made for each other, although the heroine almost spoiled it for herself because of hang-ups about relationships she'd seen fail in the past. The dialogue was witty, and I liked how comfortable the heroine was with the hero. Good thing he was oh so charming. The sex scenes were scorching and illustrated the chemistry these two had from when they first met. What I liked so much about the hero was that he was willing to do anything to see that Claire remained in his life since there was no way he was letting her go. While with Claire, I liked that she got over her hang-ups about relationships not working out because it was clear that Jack and Claire were perfect for each other.

Overall, Ms. Knight has done a marvellous job penning this tale, and I can't wait to read more of this series in the future. That is if there are any more books to follow.
