| Carla takes her friend Lauren home one weekend to meet her family. She has an underlying plan to give her biggest Macho Cousin Romeo his comeuppance once and for all, because Lauren is just what Romeo normally enjoys in his women. The gag is that Lauren, being the Ice Queen as she is referred to, is expected to turn the tables on him by giving him a cold shoulder, when he shows interest. The entire family is prepared for the upcoming show, except for the unknowing Romeo. Just before reaching the ranch Carla lets Lauren in on the planned game and she isnt very happy at all.
Romeo, at the first sight of Lauren, knows his days are numbered. Days nothing, the hours are numbered. She is his! Romeo has a very strong protective sense, having had to take on major responsibility at a very young age. His family, aunts, uncles, cousins, think he is way too overly protective and that it is time to rib him a little bit. All are anxiously awaiting the outcome of bringing these two together. Wow, there is no other word for it, when Romeo falls for a woman, he FALLS! What a man.I am just so lucky to get to read about such luscious fantasy men. This book is full of great scenes (a particularly funny one is the Cranky Lauren Morning) and hilarious dialog and is just an absolutely super story. The sex is totally hot, the lust and love between these two characters is unbelievably real, and I couldn't put the story down.
