| This is an exotic and often erotic collection of twenty-two tales of vampires, werewolves, and others who need a little lust with their blood to survive. It’s quite an eclectic collection of authors who have titillated us with their art in other books putting their mind and heart into their stories for this anthology.
Several favorites in the set include a duet of tales by D. J. Manly. In Erotic Rambling of a Vampire and it’s counterpart the Erotic Ramblings of a Werewolf we get two sides to the love story between Damion and Christopher. Both are witty with a definite attempt by each writer to one up their partner in telling secrets about the other’s personality. Ms. Manly always thrills me with her way with words and these works are no exception. What if ex presidents and/or their wives haunted the White House? Jackie Rose gives us an often hilarious vision of what life at the nation’s capitol might be like in I’m a Vampire…in the Line of Garlic. Abigail Adams does laundry in the East Room while Ms. Dolley Madison is seducing everyone in pants, including the president. As First Witch the president’s wife is very adept at handling all the shenanigans around her. Part of the fun of this story is definitely a vision of what it might be like if this could actually happen to fix current politics in capitols around the world! Another favorite is a contribution from Stephanie Hecht called Sins of an Angel. She tells us the story of angel brothers with different talents fighting evil. Since she tells it as the voice of one of the brothers we get quite a bit of sibling rivalry with our lust. But Casey and brother Bear find new respect for one another when they each find true love. This is a set of stories told in ways that are sure to satisfy your need for a bunch of gorgeous people with fangs helping to make reading a pleasure.
