I really enjoyed this author and her writing style. I wish it was longer because I found myself drawn to Savage and Alaya and wishing I had longer to get to know them. It all seemed to resolve so quickly. The book, though well written and engaging, seemed over before it began. That feeling was exacerbated by the fact that such a short book had such a long glossary. I would have loved if all these explanations were written into the story. My disappointment, however, stems from how great an author she is, so if you’re looking for a quick fun read for before bed you will surely enjoy this book. I will certainly keep my eyes open for further books by this author.
