Ellora’s Cavemen, Volume II proved any season could be a Season of Seduction in this steamy collection of short stories. No matter the locale, anywhere these six talented authors chose to place their tales became a walk on the sensual side. Wendy’s Summer Job, by Charlotte Boyett-Compo, was humorous and hot from beginning to end. I love the way this story unfolded. Have to say that if I had ever had a job offer like this one…well, no telling where I would be today.

Chasing the Dragon, by Megan Kerans, and Devon's Vix, By Rebecca Airies, were written in very different styles, but burn the pages with passion and sensuality while Ms. Cheyenne McCray delivered a winner with her BSDM short, Taking it All. Three strong stories that show it never hurts for a woman to give as good as she gets, no matter the circumstances. I found the weakest story to be Viking Pledge, by Melany Logen. It was a sweet story with erotic overtones, but lacked the sensual punch I have come to expect from an Ellora’s Cave’s anthology.

These six stories sizzled with sexual exploration and satisfaction, were hotter than the sun’s rays, with smooth finishes like a finely aged whiskey. They certainly delivered seduction as promised. This reviewer is off to find Volume I.
