Alecia Monaco - Year of the Cat: Vincent the Vampire always enjoys Halloween, the one night of the year where he is free to move among the humans without having to worry about not fitting in. But this evening on the way to his planned fun he meets Silas, his maker. Silas is there to remind him that his 100 year deadline is tonight and if he wants to hang around any longer he must drink the blood of a virgin. This is normally not a Vincent option since he uses on a regular basis only criminals and other lowlifes to quench his thirst. And it gets more complicated--it seems he has been issued a challenge along with his deadline; the Elders have decreed that he take a virgin and have even specified which virgin it is to be. Anya has the party already set up at her home and the guests are arriving. She only wishes that shed have her own partner, life is rather lonely even when one has friends. And then her eyes meet those of Vincent.

Roxanne Rhoads - Eternal Passion: Quillon is a whisper in her life, always there, never silent. Now he has made her return to New Orleans. Once there, as she gets away from the too quiet streets, Christien and she meet. Their fiery passion keeps her in a constant state of lust but she still, in the back of her mind, wants Quillon. On Halloween night she gets a choice along with a surprise involving none other than Christien.

Bonnie Dee - The Straw Man: When Marie gets her spur-of-the-moment spoken wish in real life, she shares one very special night with a very special man. That joy sustains her for a short while but eventually her internal debate begins about a solution to her problem. Desperation guides her actions and she only hopes her plan might work.

Bridghid Parkinson - Haunted Passions: Sharon works in Interior Design and by chance meets Mike as he is on the way to her firm for consultation. Something compelled him to stop at this office. Getting the opportunity to explore her own ideas in the beautiful old spooky house he is living in and working on is heaven sent; finally some freedom to use her imagination and creativity. Exploring the budding relationship with Mike is a wonderful feeling; enjoying very much the feel of two sets of dishes for once in the dish drainer instead of the usual one. But there is something strange about the house, something rather scary.

Very enjoyable stories with interesting characters and storylines all centered around a Halloween theme. Definitely for your TBB list when you enjoy a tidbit of mystery with your romance.
