| Two strangers meet and end up sharing a cab. One is running away from heartbreak while the other is not quite human. Mix this brew together and we will have a story of conflict and mayhem. Katherine has set out on her honeymoon trip to prove something to herself while Trent returns home to finish some business. Add in some instant attraction and a one night stand filed with heady sex and mixed emotions and we have lots of sinful intentions. Once Katherine and Trent embark on this rollercoaster both will find themselves falling into a deep chasm.
Sinful Intentions is an apt description for this book. Both characters in this story have some major emotional issues. Katherine couldn't help using the F bomb every time she thought of her cheating fiancé and at times I found it quite funny, but also a little sad. Facing major emotional conflicts relating to her ex fiancée while indulging in sexual romps with Trent was a constant nagging issue. Trent believe that Katherine wasn't over her fiancé and thought Katherine was just using him to scratch an itch and get back at her fiancé. Unfortunately, both Katherine and Trent were fighting not to fall in love, and this caused great pain and emotional stress to both of them. Lets face it, no one can tell what tomorrow will bring. Sometimes we get thrown a curve ball that some of us don't recover from. I enjoyed reading this book, it kept you guessing and wondering how this couple will endure the trials they face.
