Antonia Pearce writes one of those stories that will touch many of us where we live with so many readers involved in some way with military and security people in our circle of friends and/or family. Some days it would be nice to have a few vampires on our side who have more than human strength and tenacity to help out the rest of the folks always going into harm's way. This is an action filled and moving story that makes an excellent addition to this series.
