| Yoshiko Moto is one tough charter boat captain. She's beaten off pirates and survived two trips to the island of the sirens. Trips where those who were with her didn't return. Dr. Trevor Strong is determined to be taken to the island. No amount of money or argument could convince him he could die. Nico Eliopoulos, his research assistant, is along for the ride. His baby sister died on the last jaunt led by Dr. Trevor. He wants to find out why. And Yoshiko is driving him crazy with lust even without the siren's song.
Ericka Scott pens a tale that mixes mythology with the present in a well told tale of greed ruling common sense. Yoshiko has survived situations where many would have given up. She knows how to think on her feet like the best of heroines even if she may feel guilty later. Away from the siren's lair Nico is a great guy just trying to right a wrong that was probably done to his sister. He gets help for his task in a surprising way that will leave a smile on your face. Ms. Scott continues to give us unique stories that let me feel that little touch of an evil grin when the bad guy meets his match.
