Spellfire, Texas is a town full of every imaginable type of paranormal being. These five stories tell a little more about the inhabitants, their lives and their loves.

Coreena Martinez has met her match in a being from another dimension in Constant Cravings by Bev Haynes.

Purrly....Gnome Magic by Jewel Adams is one of those love stories where one of them really goes all out to make their romance grow. Molly Purrly is a shapeshifting black leopard. Karl Novac is a gnome. After she almost kills him with a little catnip in the tea she finds gnomes are allergic to catnip and that, as a group of beings, they’re forbidden to mate or date with anyone who’s not a gnome. Even saving the life of some of the gnomes doesn’t help.. The sex between the normal sized Molly and her gnome is so good that Molly takes matters into her own hands as a last ditch effort to join them if she can’t beat them.

Juilette Ashton contributes Endless Love. Arranged marriages don’t often work but this celestial being and her werewolf finally manage to beat the odds...and the demons.

That’s Normil for Spellfire is quite a tale of ghosts, gremlins and other various and sundry paranormals finding Abby Normil who's been lost for seven years.. Bridghid Parkinson builds a good tale.

The stories finish with a light hearted tale called Sweet Freckles by Starla Malone. Willie and his parrot are cute as heck.

There’s a lot of lighthearted fun, laughs and frivolity in these tales. It looks like the authors took time out from some of their more serious works to just have fun and give us a chance to enjoy the humorous side of the genre called paranormal.

The characters go to extremes to make a point, right a wrong, aggravate their lovers. Tiffs are a lot more fun if we’re on the outside looking in, or in this case, reading about someone else’s misunderstandings. There’s a little mystery at times but the solution is usually a lot of fun.

The dialogue is so often tongue in cheek at times where other books would get heavy, analytical or just plain stuffy or serious. This is great entertainment for those of us who like paranormal romances but want it to be fun and funny sometimes.
