| Jem has returned to the ranch his late father left him and to Olivia ‘Liv,’ the woman he left behind. His intentions are to run the ranch and to claim Liv and nothing will stop him now. Or so he thinks.
Liv, known for her fiery temper, is already angry with her brother for wanting to leave for the rodeo circuit now that Jem has finally returned home after fifteen years away. She’s not about to fall at his feet as she might have done in the past. Liv is a wonderful character. She’s feisty and not afraid to wade right in and swing a few punches. Her character made this story for me. Just because the man she’s always loved is home, she’s not about to go all gooey and female on him. She has a very colorful vocabulary that had me laughing out loud. Jem left Liv and the ranch after he and his father had a falling out. He wants Liv desperately and is determined to get his way. She’s still a hellion and he has his work cut out for him. But when these two get down and dirty, they smolder with intensity. Spitfire is a delightful and entertaining quickie. It’s fun, it’s hot, and deliciously sensual. I wish it were longer. I would have loved to have seen more of Liv and Jem. They are perfect for each other and the interaction and dialogue between them will be remembered with a smile for a long time. I recommend this charming erotic story. It’s what I call a ‘Happy Book’.
