Jet Mykles gives us a little piece of one cool Spring day for two hot lovers. In this story Ms. Mykles just wets our appetite for more so I just had to refresh my mind on the Heaven Sent series which is excellent. If you don't know their story, Reese is an artist. He'd been in love with Luc for a long time before Luc ever admitted that he had feelings for him in return. As a bass player in the band Heaven Sent he could have anyone he wanted. Their relationship had a rocky start but now they both have everything they've ever dreamed of.

Ms. Mykles' stories are always well constructed and fun. In this one we almost get lost in Reese's daydreaming with him as he looks over their land thinking of his lover and how he'd like to do a pencil sketch of the sunset. When Luc comes home the author shows us with his gentleness and consideration what a sweet man he is and how much he adores his lover. This is a wonderfully done work that may send you back to read their complete story in Heaven Sent: Heaven and Purgatory like it did me.
