Axel’s day is going badly: he was passed over at work, his lover dumped him by phone and he was evicted from his apartment. Angry at everything that has happened to him, he lets his anger spill out. When the floor of the building where he works begins to shake and he realizes that he is the cause of that, he runs. But he is followed by Cadence who holds the key to what is happening to him.

Stone Magic’s story is very interesting but it suffers from being too short. You don't get to really know the characters and get involved with them. Also, there isn't much background information and you need it to really get into the story.

As the first book that I think will be a series, Stone Magic piqued my curiosity but also made ​​me concerned about the second book. If the second book is as short as the first, I'll have to think twice before deciding to read it.
