| Breaking Skye is the story of a woman looking for a dominant man to help her explore what it means to be "submissive", but the man who answers her ad is more than she bargained for. Adam Dunne is intrigued with Skye Ballard from the moment he meets her and that disturbs him.
In Submissive Secrets we meet two ex-lovers brought together again because of a top secret assignment. Carli abandoned Aidan just before their wedding, and years later he still carries the hurt. When he's sent to get information from her, he just wants to get the job done and get out. But Carli still loves him, and he discovers that walking away isn't an option. Cupid's Captive introduces us to John Cupid, a Dominant who has no interest in anything more than a one-night stand. Unfortunately, his law partner's little sister Steffy has big plans for him. And John discovers Steffy isn't so little anymore, but has become a sexy temptress who's daring him to teach her a lesson or two. I really felt the depth of character in Skye and Adam in Breaking Skye. Although not able to go deep into their stories, the author was able to convey their strengths and weaknesses and really brought them alive for me. I thought the idea of a sexy stranger training someone in the art of submission was incredibly hot, or at least Ms. Bradley made it seem that way. I liked Carli and Aidan in Submissive Secrets, although I didn't get as strong a sense of them individually. They obviously loved each other, which I liked and it made the sex that much better in my opinion, but I felt like the ending left some questions unanswered. The idea behind Cupid's Captive - an older man teaching a younger woman - was made fresh by Reese Gabriel's smooth writing. The characters were smart and stubborn, and Steffy's sassy attitude was obviously just what John needed. The dialog was witty and the sex was naughty! On the whole, a well written series of stories, worth taking the time to read.
