I found this story an enjoyable and quick read. The story was very well written and contained a concise, well executed plot. The story flowed along well with only minor plot twists or surprises. The characters were somewhat flat as there was little true depth or flaws in their personality or actions. The characters made predictable choices which were disappointing as the story's premise was very enticing. Additionally, they did not really grow or change despite their obstacles. Further, I felt that some of the choices that were made were extremely immature and in opposition with their strong individual personalities.
While I did find this story enjoyable, I was disappointed in its predictability. I could tell where the plot was going and hoped for a plot twist or additional character growth to add to the value of the story. However, that was not forth coming. The few sensual scenes were sweet and contained little, if any, offensive material. These flaws in the story dampened my overall reading experience. I think this novel would be appropriate for a reader who would like a few hours of sweet and comfortable reading.
