| Tails of Love is a collection of short stories celebrating animals and their involvement in our lives. In Man’s Best Friend, a bedraggled puppy turns a friendship into a relationship. The story Danny’s Dog reunites a husband and wife and fixes their broken marriage. Rescue Me tells the tale about another reunited young love. Lord Hairy is the only historical and tells the story of how an unwanted step-daughter can find love with the help of a trusty four-legged friend. For Border collie lovers everywhere, A Man, A Woman and Haggis is an enchanting tale that takes place Scotland. The other enchanting stories in this anthology include mischievous cats, a capricious pygmy goat, a quirky capuchin monkey and many more. Animals bring so much to a person’s life and this book tells many great tales of how animals do just that.
Animal lovers everywhere need to go buy a copy of this book as soon as it comes out. Don’t walk, but run to the bookstore. It doesn’t matter if the reader is a cat person, a dog person, or even a monkey person; there is something in this story for any and all animal people out there. Plus, the authors are generously donating a portion of the proceeds to a charitable organization for animal adoptions. This book is full of feel-good moments. You can’t help but smile at the quirky antics of the animals in these stories. Some stories are from the view of our four-legged friends and those stories are so entertaining. Being an animal lover myself, I had very high hopes and standards for this book and it did not disappoint in the least. This book is a keeper for me and one that I will be running to the book store to buy more copies to give as gifts for family and friends. So go grab yourself a copy, curl up on the couch with your dog, cat or other adorable animal, and get to reading this book.
