| Takeo is being held prisoner in a rat-filled cell by evil incarnate Constantine. He's been tortured but the hardest pain occurs when Constantine threatens to harm Kamiko, the love of his life. When push comes to shove, Takeo escapes his prison to find Kamiko and gets him to a safe place. Kamiko living with Zeus's pack doesn't fully realize the danger he's in. He does know he misses Takeo something awful and wants to be with the man he loves. When he's finally reunited with Takeo, trouble and hurt feelings soon follow. Will Kamiko and his strong powerful warrior find everlasting love? Or will obstacles be a roadblock to their love?
I've been looking forward to Takeo's and Kamiko's story, the fourth in the Demon Warrior's intriguing series. I absolutely love how Lynn Hagen uses the crossover technique to include characters from other books. It's really clever on the author's part in keeping readers interested and almost rabid in continuing to buy her books. This is definitely a character driven story as a good portion is dedicated to the intricacies of the developing love relationship between the main characters. There's a whirlwind of emotions swirling around these two amongst all the other chaotic moments. I liked the interaction between the different characters in keeping the story afloat. Ms. Hagen always writes very hot and loving sex scenes so I expected nothing less. Takeo is a good addition to the continuing saga of demon warriors and the men who love them. It's best read in it's entirety as part of a series.
