| This is book two in the Elemental Magic series. This story follows Serena Rourke's sister Leannan O'neal and Serena's would be lover Gabe Spiller. Serena's death two years ago was a loss Lea still felt today. Before she died, she gave Lea an ugly statue and a message. If she was ever in trouble go to FBI agent Gabe, he was the only one to trust. Leannan was a mild mannered school teacher, suddenly thrust into a world of killers and diamonds.
The plot was a little hard to follow. I felt parts were missing and I had to piece together the story. Some useless detail was added while more important elements were left out. The characters were all right but I would have liked to have seen them fleshed out a little more. I liked the thought of the helper Leannan had. It would be nice if we all had that in times of danger.
