The moment Dolf met Maggie, he knew she was his mate. The only thing is, she hates what he is, a werewolf, and won't give him the time of day ever since she was kidnapped by a bad man of his kind. The only way he can change her mind is by using an old friend of hers, who just happens to also be a werewolf. Yet Maggie has no idea.

Maggie can't help the way she feels, although she's drawn to Dolf more than any man she's ever met before. Then she runs into an old friend, Chris, who happens to know of werewolves because he is one, not that she knows that, of course. But the more time she spends with Chris, the more she sees of Dolf and soon or later she can't deny him anything because she wants it to.

Ms. Chenery is an exceptional author and this book doesn't disappoint. The plot was great, and the dialogue filled with such emotion that it drew you in to both main characters' lives, giving you a good sense of what it was that drove them to do the things they do and also deny themselves. It was so obvious how drawn these two were to each other, although Maggie had her reasons for pushing Dolf away time and time again. For Dolf, the definite jealousy of Chris because he and Maggie were once really good friends. While with Maggie, there was that fear of being in the clutches of an evil werewolf again, although she knew deep down Dolf wasn't evil. Yet he was a werewolf and she just couldn't be around him. The sex scenes were hot, and revealed how much Dolf wanted Maggie because she was his mate whether she believed him or not. What I liked so much about Dolf was his determination to show Maggie that not all werewolves were evil. While with Maggie, I liked her strength. It showed that even though she was afraid of werewolves, she could see Dolf for what he really was, a good guy.

Overall, this is another great addition to this series, of which I can't wait to read more. Also, Ms. Chenery's books are ones that I would recommend, no matter which series of hers one chose to read.
