|Four years ago, Madison Daniels kissed her brother's best friend only to have him push her away. Since then, she's done everything she can to avoid being in his presence, but for the weekend of her brother's wedding she's forced to spend time with him.
Chase Gamble has sworn of relationships, especially one with his best friend's sister. However, when they're forced to spend time together by sharing a room because there's been a mix-up with their rooms at the place where Madison's brother is getting married, he figures how hard can it be to keep his hands off the one woman that drives him to distraction?
The plot of this book was interesting from the beginning, and showed what a challenge this author must have had in penning this novel as the two main characters were so head-strong and at odds with each other due to their attraction. The dialogue was creative and well-written, and I liked how their bickering at times illustrated the frustration of not moving their relationship past friendship especially for Madison who wanted more than anything to be the centre of Chase's attention. The sex scenes were hot, and it was good to see Chase finally give in because he wanted Madison more than anything. What I liked so much about Madison was her way to fight for something she wanted, and that something being Chase. While with the hero, I was glad his self-control didn't win out in the end otherwise these two would never have found happiness.
In the end, I really liked how this author helped this story along by getting the secondary characters involved because they knew how perfect Chase and Madison were for each other. And lastly, I can't wait to read more of this author's work in the future now that I've had the chance of reading this one.
