| Aboard the spaceship Drigon, Captain Dawson Lang has some problems. His ship is not operating at optimum levels and his crew is composed of 40 men - and one female. He did not want a female to be on his last mission before his retirement, and he definitely did not want to be so attracted to her.
Dr. Meredith Carson is the ship's new doctor and she finds herself attracted to her captain. Meredith thinks it is a one-sided attraction, as Dawson had not expressed any interest, until she taps into a holographic image that he made to help him deal with his sexual urges and she is its star! Unable to let him get away with it she decides to turn the tables and join in the fun. The early stage of their relationship is turbulent, but it spins out of control when the Drigon malfunctions and they crash land on an inhabitable planet of ice. Only 11 members of the crew survive, and they find out the hard way that the bio-scans were wrong when they said the planet was devoid of life. As they are methodically killed off one by one, they realize this planet is not only inhabited, but what lives there is a killer… and pure evil. Can they survive the horror of the planet until help arrives? Heather Holland does a great job in bringing a thrilling story to life. The killer is as cold as the planet itself, and determined to consume everything it meets. Meredith and Dawson is a super-charged but loving couple with the strength to survive anything… or do they? A Great Read!
