| When Merelynda hires the Loremaster, Storm, to instruct her subdued sister in
the art of sensuality, he unlocks places in her the young woman never knew
existed. To what lengths will Merry go to possess his sexual powers? Will the
Suttoth sister's lives ever be the same?
Dymitia has a wondrous knack of describing people through action. Seconds after we meet Storm, we know he is a man of integrity and duty. He's short, serious, and bound in a dangerously sleek body. Merelynda too, is known immediately as a sexually knowledgeable woman, and we sense her hidden agenda long before it's put out in the open. I would have liked to see them experience more inner conflicts to balance what they faced outside of themselves. To the effect, I was intrigued by many of the subplots working their way around this encounter, and was frustrated as they went undeveloped. That, along with numerous spelling and grammar errors, pulled the reader back from the story. I will be interested in seeing Dymitia's later works. I'm hopeful that, with time, she will follow through on the wispy threads she weaves so gracefully through her plot, and adds more dimensions to her characters.
