Widow Margaret Redde traveled cross country to marry a man named Ethan Carver, a rancher with whom she had been corresponding for months. The problem started when she arrived in Pearl and Ethan did not know her. He refused to help her and he was adamant about her returning to her home. But she didn’t have one to go back to. After the confusion settled a little bit, they discovered that Ethan’s brother, James, had corresponded with her in his brother’s name. The reason he had done this was part of the problem. He was now gone.

James left the ranch to Margaret but she had to stay for one year. That caused even more conflict between Ethan and Margaret. What would happen to her reputation if she stayed, unmarried, on the ranch for a year? And the idea of All the Trees In Pearl is a quick-paced western historical which will clear up the entire mess.

Ms. Emily Ryan-Davis has written a great, fun, highly sensual book with some great surprises. The storyline that takes the readers from the hostile arrival to the fact that the sex was hot, graphic and often, is one that will absolutely take the reader on a journey which will be almost impossible to put down. The sexual scenes were h.o.t. It will be impractical to expect to be unaffected by the sexy incidents. This author knows how to write those sensual incidents. It’s a great book and one nobody should miss.
