| Venice Dylanski’s position aboard the spaceship Excalibur is Major in charge of security. When Excalibur is attacked by a much larger vessel it is agreed that she and one other female would become captives of the Archeons in exchange for the guaranteed safety of the rest of the crew, which consists of men, women and children. Once aboard the Archeon vessel she learns she has been taken for the purpose of becoming a surrogate mother for the Archeons. She does not give in easy and looks for means of escape. Through it all she never stops loving her husband, Steve that se left aboard Excalibur.
Trinity of Tylos is a fascinating space romance filled with thrilling action and adventure. Venice is chosen due to her body type to help repopulate a dying race. She is willing to sacrifice herself for the safety of others but she continues to look for a means of escape. She is bold and fights with both her body and her brain but nothing gets through to the leader of the Archeon. She finds herself even meeting resistance with the other member of her crew and it is easy for the reader to see how she becomes frustrated with her fellow captive. The emotions of the characters are felt through the writing of Pamela J. Dodd. Venice grieves. She is angry about being taken and depressed from being away from her husband. She feels guilty when her body responds to her captors love making but she eventually begins to find acceptance. Her love remains true to her husband. After a time they meet again and life is not easy. The storyline is creative and filled with exciting action as one race fights another for their survival. Trinity of Tylos is a fascinating emotionally stirring space adventure that shows how far someone will go for someone they love.
