| Frank has hated Angel for four years because he thinks she betrayed him. Imagine the shock when he sees her across the crowded ballroom after all these years. Even worse he now has to work with her undercover to break his current case. Frank has so many different emotions about Angel he doesn't know if he's coming or going. Can he keep his feelings for her separate while they are working as partners, or will this case be his emotional downfall?
Angel hasn't seen Frank is four years and knows that he hates her for what he thinks she did. Now he's back and she has to work with him to help solve his case, but the feelings she has for him have never truly left her. Now she is willing to do whatever it takes to help him, but will she be able to put the past behind her and try and convince him that she never meant to hurt him? Can they work together as a team or will Frank always hold the past against her? Undercover Blues is the first cop book that I have read in a while. Frank can be a real jerk and very unforgiving in the beginning, but you soon see a different side of him as the book continues. Angel does what she thinks is right and doesn't always really think things through before she acts, which is how the battle started in the first place. The couple really has a spark that is impossible to ignore and we soon see the sparks flying between the two. I really enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to readers who just want a really good story to read.
