Kelsey Peterson was trying to live one day at a time. Not only had her husband cheated on her, but Todd had chosen Evan’s (her best friend for years) fiancée, Courtney, for his new girlfriend. When Kelsey found them in her bed, she called Evan and verbally attacked him on the phone. She begged him to get this woman out of her house.

When it dawned on Evan that he hadn’t cancelled the honeymoon trip his parents had given him for his and Courtney’s wedding, he asked Kelsey, his best friend, to go to Hawaii with him. Finally she agreed to go. Their lives would certainly change during this fabulous vacation. Something always happens when things are going well, right?

This book by Ms. Cherrie Lynn was a good book with best friends going further in their relationship. She used the basic premise of best friends even though each had felt more for the other for the length of their relationship. The problems this couple encountered when they were forced back into reality were poignant and very realistic. I could not help but fall in love with this couple and hope things worked out for them.

The “bad” couple was never far from the thoughts of the others. However, family and friends had more trouble dealing with the circumstances. Ms. Lynn’s ability to deal with the problems was great. The way the couple was accepted, or rejected, by family was presented in a well-developed way.

The storyline was beautifully written. I was surprised at the outcome. There are things I would like to say that would definitely be a spoiler. Suffice it to say that you will not be sorry to read this book. The love story is a good one which I recommend. You won’t be sorry to have read it.
