Legal representative Nora Barr led a rather mundane life until she met Mr. Blackstone and his sidekick Panza Sancho and found out about a witch named Ealhswith. Unknowingly, to her anyway, Mr. Blackstone made sure she got her wishes because of a job she was doing for him. Ten years later, she discovers Emma as she brought his job to its final conclusion. Or at least Mr. Blackstone thought it was a conclusion only to discover that Nora is a modern day lady with ethics.

If that wasn't enough, here is yet another twist to the old, bringing in a new way of seeing things. This novel has a wonderful point of view to it. Utterly Charming is a tantalizing story. It shows us how even the good can have evil in them. Nora proves to be a no nonsense lady with an agenda. Her chick lit stance really pushes the story forward. Her uncertainties help us to see the real woman behind the brass knuckles.

Aethelstan Blackstone aka Alex on the other hand, outwardly shows to the humans and the witch who is the boss. When it comes to Nora, his sense of responsibility among other senses makes him stop, take note and pause even more before he'd dare to take action, which made him all the sweeter in my eyes. The novel Utterly Charming is pulsating with action, making it a satisfying read. If you're looking for sex, well you've come to the wrong place. If you're looking for love, well, then get reading. I truly loved it for the action is gripping and the characters are very believable. I really loved the way the witchy brewhaha was written into the context of the novel.
