| Rosalinda has spent the last three years searching for her best friend Kat. Even though she knows in her heart Kat will never be found, not in the year 2009 anyway. Somehow Kat and her boyfriend Leif have traveled back in time, and Rosie is sure two ancient pendants were responsible.
Davyn Nabborddson has been accused of a terrible crime he can't be sure he did not commit. His only option is to accept his brother's mercy and flee Denmark. Alone, he has to make his new life in Scotland, until an unexpected surprise literally falls from the sky landing on top of him. Now that he has Rosalinda his life is looking brighter. But can they make their love that defies time work? Can a modern girl ever be content living in the dark ages? Or will the unconditional love of a good man make it all worth while? Tami Dee has a winner in Dawn of a Viking Sunrise. This is a book that once started, you will not be able to put down. The plot is very creative and imanginative. It's amazing how much detail is in this novel. At first, all the names and titles are a little hard to keep up with, but as you get into the story it all smooths out. The characters are wonderful. Rosalinda is a modern woman. The love she shows others is heart warming. As she travels through time, her reactions are believable considering every thing she goes through. Her big viking Davyn is the ultimate manly man. Being a man of the Dark Ages, some of his customs are barbaric. But as you get to know him you see he really has a heart of gold. The plot flows in many directions. You have bad guys, long lost sisters, misplaced cousins, and lots of friends old and new. I loved this book! It has it all -- humor, action, adventure, and romance. You do not want to miss this fabulous tale of true love!
