Kathryn is so much in love that she can taste and feel it. If only things could be different but the man she loves is married. She would love to feel his touch, or taste his flesh, nothing more, no commitment, just to feel his body entwined with hers. She can’t explain the feelings that attract her to him, but she is certain it’s similar the way astronomy beckons him. But the more she observes him; he completely consumes her thoughts in every way.

Watching is a story that centers on a woman with desires that she can only stand by and view. Kathryn’s character is believable in the respect that she exhibits real feelings for a love that is out of bounds, which often echoes in some situations. Maya composes a searing read that captivates the reader from beginning to end.
