Chad Fletcher was a state assemblyman whose face was well-known. When he went ‘home’ to White, Arizona for Christmas with his Aunt Nell, he tried to stay incognito so he wouldn’t be hounded in this small town. He came for the holidays without a clue that Aunt Nell and Sophie, her close friend, were trying to set him up with a woman in town to visit her grandparents, the Conway family. Tessa Conway, also known as ‘Tessa the Terrier’ was well-aware of Chad and his reputation. She was definitely interested, but she was also concerned about being a rebound-woman. Chad’s latest girlfriend left a high-profile situation for him to deal with. Tessa was a well-developed, dedicated Christian woman who didn’t think she had time for a relationship. She just couldn’t help being intrigued. Ms. Tanya Stowe has, once again, written a great book that grabbed my attention and refused to let go! Ms. Stowe is definitely on my ‘to-be-read’ list of authors. I enjoy most everything I read of hers. She gives her plot a beautiful setting and her characters love God and share His Word. However, she doesn’t go overboard so that it would turn readers off. There are myriad twists and turns in this fast-paced book. It’s a quick read that will keep your attention until you turn the last page. I highly recommend it to everyone.
