When Desiree finally gets to move out from behind her desk she doesn't dream she'll fall in lust with her first surveillance subject. But Eduardo is a complex man and its impossible for her to resist him. Even though he knows Desiree works for the opposition and he's already got too much on his plate between work and family, Eduardo wants a few private moments with the woman he can't ignore.

This was a quick, steamy read. I thoroughly enjoyed the tone of this story. The characters were well-developed although I felt I got to know Eduardo so much better and I felt that there were so many unanswered questions about Desiree and her past. I would have liked to delve a little deeper into her personality. Eduardo's mother's attitude made me chuckle and his sister's predicament made my heart ache. I'm not sure if I would classify this as suspense, I think it is more contemporary erotic with touches of suspense. The conclusion of the "mystery" was over in a flash and I felt like it was missing something. I have an aversion to anal activity and am not a fan of BDSM so I really wish there had been a warning as I'd rather not read about leather restraints and ball gags. Overall this was a good read.
