This was a absolute treat to read from start to finish. A decidedly sexy romp with some delightfully naughty characters. The setting during the Regency time period added greatly to my pleasure. The witty dialogue was appropriate to the times, I give the author extra credit for this. The characterization is well drawn, it almost seemed like I was watching a play instead of enjoying a wonderful read. There's lot of sophisticated humor throughout that had me laughing more than a few times. I enjoyed the repartee between the three main characters. DeVere is deliciously wicked and a pure joy to read. I'm looking forward to his story where I'm hopeful he gets his just deserts. There are more books in the continuing series I'm anxious to read. If you're looking for a good erotic historical romance, look no further. A Wild Night's Bride is one to put on your to-read list soon.
