Molly Hamilton and her sister Sara were traveling around the country searching for the gravesites of their ancestors. They were outside the small town of Lilium, Iowa, at a small cemetery when strange things began to happen.

Molly had felt an urge to stop at the small roadside cemetery. She could not explain it to her sister. The winds were blowing on this small hilltop and she began entranced with the joyfulness of holding out her arms with the wind blowing through her hair. Then, someone started calling her name. Not seeing anyone, she left immediately feeling nervous. The next morning she knew she had to go back to that same cemetery. Something was calling her back. Before arriving she noticed a large Victorian home and stopped to investigate. She found an old 'For Sale' sign among the weeds. Were all these strange happenings for a reason?

Across The Winds of Time is an exciting, amazing time travel that kept me on the edge of my seat. Ms. McBride does a wonderful job at solving the many mysteries, and subplots in this impressive story. The characters are vibrant and kept me anxious to see what would happen next. There is also humor hidden in the pages that made me smile. It is a charming story and one I would definitely suggest you read. I am looking forward to many more stories from this author.
