This anthology of short stories was a glimpse into the lives of four couples who were blessed with either a reunion or a chance meeting which changed their lives. It consisted of a quartet of stories: Snow Kissed by Cindy K. Green, Smuggler of the Heart by Jo Ann Carter, Gwen’s Resolution written by Meg Allison, and Maybe Forever by Muncy Chapman. It would certainly have been hard to choose which was best. Though these stories were completely different, they all had some commonalities.

Snow Kissed paired Holly and Logan in the nick of time to avert Holly making a mistake in moving away. Smuggler of the Heart reunited Samantha and Tim seven years after she escaped the small town her grandparents still lived in. Gwen’s Resolution pitted Gwen and Tad, two thirty-something adults who were still single. And finally, Maybe Forever showcased a run-down farm in Iowa, a widow and a stranded man in a snow storm.

Each of these authors presented their storylines in such a way that I was mesmerized. I literally could not quit reading until the final page. Each had similar themes, with one or the other recommitting to God and searching for the perfect mate. They also pitted strangers in with other searching adults who were not necessarily actively searching for a partner.

The plots were diverse but well presented. The endings were ‘HEAs’ but not cookie cutter. Each fast-paced story grabbed my attention and will keep yours. I recommend this book to all.
