Ms. Wayland has a winner with this book which is especially impressive as this is her first erotic novel. This book hooked me from the first chapter and kept me engaged the entire way through. I loved the characters; flaws and all. I loved the contrast between Mark and Grace's interactions and Mark and Phillip's interactions. The tension and eventual satisfaction that the characters demonstrate has produced a great book. I also enjoyed the manner in which she portrayed Phillip's struggle with accepting his desires. She displayed impressive sensitivity while showing a man who was exploring an entirely different aspect of his sexuality. She developed characters who were not too perfect or too flawed but who came across as average individuals. Yet, readers beware as the sex scenes in this book were exceptionally hot. There are scenes which included ménage trios, anal play and some male/male interaction and all of which were extremely titillating. The story also introduces some amazing secondary characters. I am hope this is Ms. Wayland's manner of introducing a series. As I found the secondary characters are very interesting and I am anxiously awaiting their story. I recommend this book to all readers looking for a well written and erotic novel.
