Werelock by Dakota Cassidy introduces Addison Ross who agrees to go to pick pumpkins in the pumpkin patch on All Hallows Eve. Much to her surprise the pumpkin she picks also has a talisman that unlocks Caleb Marsden. A frightful demon is at work attempting to take back Addison's treat, but this force has never dealt with a determined woman before. Cassidy gives us a great page-turner full of witty dialogue, spicy scenes and intriguing characters. Wild Ones by Kira Stone is not for the faint of heart. Billy wants nothing more than to be left alone in the Canadian wilderness after being bitten by a wolf. Luc and his breatheran of werewolves discover Billy and use all their persuasive ways to get Billy to join their pack. This story gets steamier as the pages turn and caution is advised. A well-scripted fast moving pace adds to this scorcher by Stone. Anyone who likes a quick, hot read will not be sorry reading this one. Witching Hour by Marteeka Karland brings a brew of trouble into this book. Hazel tries hard to be the witch her grandmother told her she is. Problem being that none of her spells turn out the way their supposed to. Add to the mix a werewolf neighbor named Drake who wants nothing more than to be put under Hazel's spell. While he watching over Hazel, Drake is turned into a dog by one of her wayward spells. With fun, sexy scenes and character's who compliment each other well, this is one tale you won't want to end. Wolfbound by Sierra Dafoe adds a cool touch to round out this anthology. When Jenna's lover Klaus strands her in the Canadian Rockies on a skiing vacation a lone wolf comes to her rescue. This is no ordinary wolf though. This one turns into a man she names Wolf who takes care of her. With Jenna's guidance and love Wolf starts to edge towards the real world he has never known. Klaus's reappearance makes Jenna reevaluate her life and make some much needed changes. A story with a touch of Tarzan, smoldering scenes and touching moments. Those who enjoy a tale that makes you feel good will get caught up in this one.
