| Maggie Raynor has spent years avoiding her own kind and denying her inner wolf. Her sister Missy convinces her to join her pack and Erik Costanov, the Beta of the Granite Lake pack is sent to escort Maggie to her new home. Erik knows he has found his mate but can he convince her? She wants no part of him or any wolf. When they are chosen to participate in the winter games he hopes to win her over.
I loved this paranormal romance, with it's good mixture of seriousness and fun. Erik is one sexy wolf. And who couldn't fall in love with a man who looks so fierce but acts so patient. Maggie is a wounded soul in need of nurturing and understanding. I admired her strength. Their chemistry is amazing and they complement each other nicely. The backdrop of the Wolf Games is such a great idea. I loved the sporting events and it put a nice spin on the story. As a big fan of the Granite Lake Wolves series I can't tell you how happy I was to see TJ again. I can't wait until he gets his own story. It was also nice to catch up with some other past characters and meet some new ones. This is a keeper!
